How does it work for Bands and Artists?

1. Register at www.ismymusic.com
2. Create your band account and choose your personal bandcode (The bandcode is a chosen unique name to represent your band in a text message)
3. Upload your songs and choose a songcode for each song. (The songcode is a chosen unique name to represent your different songs in a text message)
4. Tell your fans: txt 'ismy bandcode songcode' to 60999*
5. Then check your account balance for songs sold, revenue made and to get paid.

How does it work for your fans?

1. When your fans like your music and they want to buy a song the only thing they have to do is to send a text message to 60999* which contains: ismy bandcode songcode'
2. They then receive a message back which contains a link to a wap server from where they can download the requested song.
3. For each song they need to send a new message

What are these short codes (keywords) you are talking about?
You probably have seen the mobile adverts on television? Adverts like: for 'game A' text 'A1' to 6****.
Well in this example: A1 is a short code (also called keyword).

IsMyMusic.com has setup a system to provide unsigned artists and bands with their own short codes (keywords) so they (the artists and bands) can promote their own music via mobile phone and get paid.

bandcode = band name representation for text messages. Unique per band
songcode = song title representation for text messages. Unique in combination with the bandname.
